Acceptance of terms
By downloading or using The Lines, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Use of the app
The Lines is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the app or any of its components.
In-App Purchases
The Lines offers an optional one-time Premium upgrade that unlocks additional features including ad removal, unlimited undo, additional themes, board sizes, and game modes. This is a non-consumable purchase — you pay once and keep access permanently. You can restore your purchase on any device signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account by using the "Restore Purchase" option on the Premium page.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store or Google through Google Play. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies.
Advertising
The free version of The Lines displays advertisements served through the ironSource LevelPlay mediation platform (by Unity), including a banner ad at the bottom of the game screen and occasional video ads (e.g. after using undo or completing a game). By using the app, you agree to the display of these ads. Upgrading to Premium removes all advertisements.
Intellectual property
All content, design, and code within The Lines are the property of CuriousLab. The game design is inspired by the classic Lines concept, which is in the public domain.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Lines is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. CuriousLab does not guarantee that the app will be free of errors or available without interruption.
Limitation of liability
In no event shall CuriousLab be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to these terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
